Chief Atlas ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Chief Atlas mobile application and website.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when creating an account and using the app:

• Account information: email address and display name
• Phone number — optional, only if you add one for SMS password-reset codes
• Habits, tasks, goals, and notes you create and track
• Health and recovery data (only if you connect Whoop)
• Calendar events (only if you connect Google Calendar)
• Messages you send to the AI assistant, and preferences you ask it to remember

How we store your data

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, a cloud infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

Third-party services

Chief Atlas integrates with the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes assistant conversations and generates your briefings, lessons, and coaching
• RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and purchases
• Whoop — syncs health, sleep, and recovery data (optional)
• Google Calendar — syncs calendar events (optional)
• Resend — delivers account emails such as password-reset codes
• Twilio — delivers SMS password-reset codes (only if you add a phone number)
• Sentry — collects crash reports and performance data

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve the Chief Atlas experience: personalized AI coaching, briefings, habit tracking, schedule planning, and health insights. We do not sell your personal data. Your phone number is used solely for password-reset codes — never for marketing.

Your language

Chief Atlas is available in English and Arabic. Your language preference is stored with your account so the assistant can respond in your language.

Data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our servers within 30 days.
